Joe Mullings has been building companies and careers since 1989. He is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of The Mullings Group, the world’s leading search firm in the medical device industry. The firm is responsible for more than 7,000 successful searches, representing more than 600 companies in the medical device / healthtech industry.
His clients are multi-billion-dollar companies including Johnson & Johnson, Google, Medtronic, Abbott and Siemens, as well as emerging startup companies that are bringing to market futuristic technologies like surgical robotics, tele-robotics, artificial intelligence and Deep Learning.
In 2020 Mullings was appointed the Chief Visionary Officer of MRI, Inc., the 3rd largest executive recruitment firm with 400 offices worldwide. In his new position, he guides the digital transformation of the MRI Network with an eye toward bringing to it the inbound video storytelling technique for talent acquisition vis-a-vis social media, which he innovated at The Mullings Group.
Widely viewed as a tech industry influential, Mullings is the host and producer of “TrueFuture,” an online TV series that spotlights innovations in medtech / healthtech, providing viewers a glimpse at the future in progress. He is also president-CEO of Dragonfly Stories, the production company behind “TrueFuture.”
“Perhaps no industry is anticipated as much by the public as the healthtech & medtech space. It holds the promise of changing people’s lives in profound ways every day. Yet, that message is in being held back by classic analog marketing strategies. We saw the need for connection and a digital shift, and created TMG360 Media to become a portal where the consumer meets the innovator and the innovator meets the investor,” he says.
Mullings holds an engineering degree from The University of Dayton, Ohio. He resides in Palm Beach, Florida.
